DCW 001 – INTRODUCTION

NO LOGICAL THINKER CAN ACCEPT THE TRUTH ABOUT WITCHCRAFT OPERATION

A pastor once told me that he was impressed with my depth in the topic discussed on witchcraft but would not like to expose his members to such teachings as they will create fear in their hearts and make them give too much attention to satan and his works

Here is a brief summary of what happened in that church after few years –

1. President, The senior Pastor, the Assistance Pastor and more than twenty families in that congregation are still without fruit of the womb up to date.
2. Once Resident Pastor returned to the church after more than five years to testify that his wife was only able to conceive and bear a son after he left the church
3. The President died childless through a terminal disease
4. I was personally invited to kill an owl in broad day light in that church
5. The church made news as a center of satanic activities in that part of our city
6. My friend narrowly escaped death through complications of heart disease, kidney disease and liver problem. It was through intense prayers he returned alive
7. This church broke up into impotent fractions

When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she proceeded to destroy the whole royal family of the house of Judah 2 Chron 22:10NIV

Yes, the structure of the witchcraft system is such that you will need to be irrational to accept the view of witchcraft operations. There are many things which the English dictionary will refer to as witchcraft; use of magic, use of amulets, consulting spirits of the dead for fortune telling, Indian magic or sorcery and their like. These are not wrong in their views. Some even include the use of hard drugs. But there is really a kingdom and system called the witchcraft kingdom and who are so identified because of their peculiar traits

The above bible scripture paints an image of how this kingdom operates and why it is difficult for a logical mind to understand them. The woman Athalia lost her son to a war, any reasonable person will pay her condolence and sympathize with her because she was old and had to face the pain of seeing her son, the king buried. But the account said that she went on to kill the rest of her children and grandchildren and to establish herself as queen. That means that while her son was at the war front fighting with his enemies, Athalia was at home praying that he died in that war.

How can one ever accept this fact?

How can one accept the fact that the woman he is making every effort to support is interested only in wasting his destiny?

It was about 1993 in Onitsha when a teammate took me to visit a bedridden man; he was paralyzed from his neck down to his feet and was dry like leaves, all he had functioning was his strong masculine voice. Had I known what I know today I would not have accepted his proposal that we go and return next time. He died before we could see him again. His sixteen years old daughter confessed to me that she was responsible for her father’s death; she said she was part of a spirit kingdom and that she had bound her father under the sea since when she was eight years. That man remained in that torture while she was not able to continue her education, her mother and other members of the family kept borrowing and suffering. The most alarming thing was that she was part of this suffering and continued to suffer even after his death. This girl was a member of my then local church and witchcraft was rampart in that church.

My team went to host International Prayer and Revival Conference in a big city in Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria was our anchor. As is their practice, they wrote to a prominent Pentecostal church in that city to host the program. The Senior Pastor asked for Ten Thousand Naira to fuel the Electric generator which we gave to them even though one thousand Naira would have been Ok. On the evening of the first day somebody went and dismantled the generator and scattered the parts. The senior pastor was prodded to attend the conference. He came only one day but still refused to sit near me. During the program members told how their local church was under strong witchcraft oppression. Is it possible that the pastor of this church was a wizard?

You can now see why somebody who reasons like a normal human being cannot accept the principles of witchcraft operation.  It is an upside-down kingdom; it operates against common sense. This kingdom calls good bad and calls bad good. When a son buys his father a car and builds a house for his aging mother, anybody will expect that he will be held in high esteem and loved. The contrary is the case in the witchcraft kingdom; his father who is a wizard will get angry and report him to the witchcraft coven and present the fine cloths and car he bought for him as reasons that he should not be alive.

When a young man returns from abroad and presents gifts to all the aging and suffering people in his village; building houses for the homeless, empowering young people to start their own businesses, we expect that everybody will be wishing him well. But the witches in the village get angry and start waging wars against him; they attack his businesses, plague him with diseases and where possible kill him. For what crime? He did well in the place where all they wanted is bad

If a Revivalist visits to help a local congregation returns to the power of the Holy Spirit, one would expect that the host pastor will be very happy. But my wife and I have escaped death from the hands of pastors we did not know were Satanists on many occasions. This is very hard to make a logical mind to understand.

Generalizing every work of satan as witchcraft is not right. There is another kingdom; the Mammy Water Kingdom which is also of the devil. You will see the members of this kingdom driving cars and building houses but the members of the witchcraft kingdom dare not. They don’t want to see prosperity around them. You may see children of voodoo priest in a university, not the witch. She would have killed all her children before they become adults.

Occult societies are bad and terrible, yet you will see the occult man build houses and trouble only starts when the children refuse to join him to serve satan. He could use one of his children to sacrifice to satan and then support the others with the ritual money he made, but no wizard will ever allow his children to amount to anything, even if the child joined him in that kingdom

There are those called Black, White and Red Witches. You find White Witches in the field of science and most times they are those struggling to produce destructive drugs and weapons of war, Red Witches are often in politics, magic and mystics. But Black Witches are the worst of all three. They are the ones prominent in developing countries. Even the other groups of witches avoid them and only interact with them when there is a dirty job to do.

You hear of a mother locking her daughter’s womb so that she will not have children, you hear of eight-year-old girl putting a baby in the fridge until the child dies, you hear of grandmother locking up the sources of income of all her generations.

In a case someone receives a revelation that her mother is the cause of her problem, it is hard to believe because this is the mother that always calls to encourage her and even send her some food from the village. This is the mother whom she has been carrying her medical bills. This is the great strength of the witchcraft kingdom; people cannot even suspect their activities. That is why they hate deliverance ministers with passion because they are the ones exposing their activities.

This is the main reason those who suffer from witchcraft are always surprised when they discover the root of their problems. In most cases, the witch tells them that an innocent person is the cause of their problems and leads them about for solutions. The above scriptural reference will really help us to grasp this phenomenon. It is interesting to note that even the bible agrees that man can be so wicked.

Here is the way the bible described a man’s wickedness

He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, provoking him to anger. 2 Chron 33:6NIV

Note where it said, “He sacrificed his sons in the fire”. Observe the plural

It may interest you to know that some people are still doing that today. Government laws are stronger today, so they have developed means to still kill people but spiritually

Let me add that there are cases where innocent people were accused of witchcraft practices and I will discuss all that in this book.

SHOULD A CHRISTIAN BOTHER HIMSELF WITH THE STUDY OF WITCHCRAFT PROBLEMS?

It’s been very long since Christians have been fighting the enemy they do not know. One key to victory in any battle, even in football, is proper information about your opponent. This is the area the Church have neglected in spiritual warfare and therefore, paid a high price for this.

Quite often, we hear of the fall or sudden death of a great man of God, a sister being inexplicably sick for years, a marital home shattered, repeated miscarriages and extreme hardship for children of God, to mention just a few. There are also cases of missing pregnancies, missing private male organs and all that. There was this case of a car  that  ran  over  some  cats  on  a  Port Harcourt major road and the cats turned into three ladies; these ladies confessed to being witches on assignment. A church at Owerri was interrupted in their prayer session by a heavy sound as a man fell from the roof of the house. They saw a man who confessed that he was a wizard flying to a meeting but he was struck down by prayers from the altars of the church. A brother woke up from sleep as his son screamed from his sleep clawing his throat. Before they could reach the hospital, the boy was dead.

Funny enough, when anyone tries to pry into this area of study, we say he is going into unnecessary matters. Preachers use them as examples of those who have left the narrow way. Our members are also afraid of speaking out for fear of being misunderstood. Remember the account of a pastor who read the first edition of this book. He said that he believed everything I taught, but will not sell the book to his members, in order not to sow fear into them. That church later made news because of witchcraft activities. The pastor himself almost died of witchcraft attack; his wife has been barren for more than ten years now.

I am not against the teaching of sanctification; and many of you already know me as a revival evangelist but while we focus only on sanctification, our people are in heavy bondage to sin and frustration. So many problems of life befall our members and when we do not show possible way out, they turn to the white garment churches, the occult, native doctors, mediums, etc. Before long, these instruments of Satan sow the seed of the evil one which causes our people to backslide.

Is it not time we wake up from our slumber? It is true that some people who tried to pry into this area actually ended-up in witchcraft, but this is also because of lack of information. The average Christian know very little about the spirit world, and this is not healthy.

Witchcraft is a very important field to study and you will do well to give it due attention. They are all over the world, no denying their existence. This book has come to provoke your interest for the study of witchcraft. I tried as much as possible not to waste my time as others have done magnifying the works of Satan, but tried as much as I can to bring out issues that encourage you to do further studies.

This book is not written for your library; pastors should make efforts to use some keys taught here in the lives of their members. Families are also encouraged to do same. Please reach me if you encounter any challenges. I am interested in raising prayer warriors all over the world because, as I said in this book, it is the only lasting solution to the problem of witchcraft in the world.

The prayer topics here are some that I have given to some clients and they testified to God’s presence as they used them. May our good Lord respond swiftly to your own prayers in Jesus mighty name.

TESTIMONY

How a family broke free from the chains of witchcraft curses

There was this very godly pastor who was very poor and had only one son. He and his family lived in the old house his father built. One day his son asked him to explain to him why they were still very poor in spite of their faithful devotion to God and ministry.

The father who was also an only son shared the following story with his son.

“My father was a very powerful witchdoctor who used his powers to do all kind of evil. People consulted him for all manner of issues and it was reported that he was able to disconnect his hand or leg and hand it over to his client while attending to them

“One day he called my mother and told her that he was going to lock himself up in one of the two rooms of the house they lived; he warned her never to open the door until he came out on his own. When he entered the room and stayed beyond ten days, his wife got worried and opened the door and was surprised when a black vulture flew out of the room and that was the last we knew of our father.

“I decided to become a Christian and subsequently a pastor. I don’t understand why things are so hard but I resolved to hold on to the Lord”.

One day the son of the pastor called his parents and told them that he was about to enter into that room his father entered and that nobody should tamper with the door until he came out on his own. With his bible in hand he entered the room and commenced an indefinite fast.

His parents got worried when he exceeded five days without water and went to open the door but he locked it from inside. They called on him to spare himself because he was their only son.

He replied them, “The man that put us in this bondage did not pity himself, so I will not pity myself if I must break it”

After a number of days the parents felt relieved when the door opened and their son came out, although very weak as a result of the fast. They poured water on him and helped him as much as they could to regain his strength. The following is his account.

He saw their home confined within very thick walls and gates locked with very thick chains and heavy padlocks. Sitting on the wall of the fence was a black red eyed vulture concentrating its gaze on the family house. He mustered his strength, pointing his hand at the vulture and screamed,

“In the name of Jesus Christ, be consumed by fire!”

Fire came from heaven and consumed the vulture. As he watched, the iron gates were thrown open because the heavy chains fell off when the vulture was consumed by fire. He kept watching as he saw people bringing in all manners of good things into their compound and he woke up. The father of that young man retired a million preachers.

Those that know me very well know that I avoid fake testimonies which have often led me to mention names of those connected to the testimonies. The person that told this story which I passed on here is Prof. Kontein Trinya; he may have many weaknesses like every other man but I am very sure that telling lies is not one of them. (Please, note that I don’t mean to suggest that only a lengthy fast can deliver from the power of witchcraft.)

The battle with witchcraft is dirty warfare; the kingdom is terrible and patterns of operation are unimaginable.

WHAT IS WITCHCRAFT?

Generally speaking, witchcraft is the use of magic power especially for evil Purposes.  It is the activities of Satan’s kingdom.  Anything Satan does is witchcraft.  Occultism is witchcraft, whether it is the murderous activities of occult societies, cult activities in any guise, ritual murder or the star gazers, worship of sun god, Indian magic or mystic temples or human being changing into all kinds of animals to suck human blood or soul travel, palm reading or Spiritism. All these are categorized as witchcraft.  When Satanists and false prophets use the name of Jesus Christ for ungodly purposes, it is also witchcraft (Acts 19: 8-16).

Those that practice such are called witches (wizards-masculine). Their ability to interact with the spirit world often allows them to see the future (Acts 16:16-18) which immature Christians misinterpret as the voice of God.

ARE THERE REALLY WITCHES/WIZARDS?

In Africa this question is irrelevant as the evidences are everywhere. People wake up in the morning to see their bodies lacerated and the point from which the Satanists sucked their blood is clear. A woman woke up by the screaming of her daughter, only to find the wall gecko sucking the blood of the child from one finger. A man was lying on his bed and noticed something like sand poured all over his body. Two days after he became sick, if not for the timely intervention of his wife who is a believer, he would have died. The level of witchcraft operations in the so-called developed countries is in alarming increase. India breathes and drinks witchcraft. Natural man’s search for supernatural power is almost always directed towards witchcraft, because of his tendency to do evil.

WHO IS A WITCH?

Any person into satan’s service:  Voodoo, Occult, Native doctors, Indian magicians etc. The white garment churches are centers for witchcraft. The point is that some people just go there not knowing the activities that take place underground. The classification of White, Red, and Black witches is irrelevant. A witch is a witch and all are packaged by Satan to forward his program. We will see more about this later.

As stated earlier, whatever Satan or his agents do is witchcraft, but there is this category that actually takes upon them self the title of witches. They are those Bible calls rulers of darkness. They are human beings who have sold themselves over to Satan and he uses them to do evil. Some are in government settings, some in schools, some fake as pastors and other tiers of life.

Why this group is most evil is that they hate success of any kind. They do not even want to succeed. Their food is human blood, dead rats etc. A child who is initiated into witchcraft will often throw away her food secretly. In the advanced stage they appear physically malnourished and haggard. There is never a good house or property in any place they have firm control. There are two cities in Nigeria reputed for witchcraft, though ancient cities, development sweeping  through Nigeria seems to avoid them. A mammy water agent may own a good house and wear fine clothes. Not a witch. That is why Bible says that we should not allow them to live. (Ex. 22:18)

WHAT DOES GOD AND THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT WITCHES?

Take note that some versions of the bible refer to witches and wizards as sorceresses and sorcerers

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so. Deut 18:10-14NIV

This scripture makes elaborate description of things that falls into the subject of our discussion with specific emphasis on WITCHCRAFT. Note where it said, anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord

“‘Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God. Lev 19:31NIV

“Do not allow a sorceress to live Ex 22:18NIV

Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is the divine power known as the Great Power.” They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic.  But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw                        Acts 8:9-13NIV

The above scripture makes it clear that there is no place to combine satan’s power with God’s message in the ministry. Unfortunately today, some are doing so. Bible condemns it. The following scripture makes it clear that we should not retain any of their properties but should destroy them by burning.

Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. Acts 19:18-19NIV

God is against witchcraft and those who practice or patronize them. The Bible said they should be marked for death because they are one of devil’s principal instruments of wickedness. They are those Bible call rulers of darkness in Eph. 6:12. They are extremely wicked. Before somebody becomes a witch or wizard the devil, through his agents, defiles the mind of such beyond repair by processes we cannot discuss here. After this, the person now have a spirit of  wickedness and thus calls good “evil” and evil “good”. Most people suffer under witchcraft from people they do good for.

At times one gives money or helps them one way or the other, but as they gather in their coven they condemn such a person for this generous act and use this help against him.  It is common in our society these days for one to hear of mothers killing their sons and children killing their parents.   A husband maybe laboring with all his strength for the family and his wife is working against him spiritually.  That is why most victims of witchcraft are surprised when they discover the source of the attack. There are those who not actually witches but got possessed by spirit witchcraft just like one gets the spirit of infirmity which results in regular sickness. That person manifests all the attributes of a witch but is not a witch. Once the demon leaves the person become normal. We will talk more about this in subsequent chapters.

Devil empowers his agents with evil power to destroy anything that reflect the purpose of God. On the appearance it may seem the native doctor is rendering you a help but at the end it is evil. The mere having anything to do with them is offensive to God. The bible totally condemns and rejects witches, their likes and their practices.
